2-Way Remote Learning Instructions – after you have programmed your DISH Network remote to control your equipment (in TV, DVD or AUX modes), you may find not all of the commands used by the equipment’s original remote controls function as they expect. The learning function of the DISH Network remote control can support these commands.

The remote control can learn commands in two ways: Hybrid Mode & Normal Mode
Learns codes from other IR remotes
4 color-coded buttons for future ITV use
Acquires codes for new devices as Dish adds them
Backing Up Remote/Receiver Data
Store’s receiver settings in the remote, and remote settings in the receiver
